Trace Adkins guests on "Celebrity Apprentice" finale

After the firing of Clint Black, Brande Roderick and Jesse James in last week's exciting episode, two arch-rivals are left to face off in the final showdown: world-renowned comedienne Joan Rivers and world champion poker player Annie Duke. In this final challenge, project managers Joan and Annie will compete to create a pre-theatre VIP party experience, sponsored by Kodak, for patrons attending Cirque du Soleil's hit show "Wintuk."

The three-hour finale will be telecast live Sunday, May 10 (8-11 p.m. ET on NBC) from the Museum of Natural History in New York City where last season's finalists, winner Piers Morgan ("America's Got Talent") and runner up, country music superstar Trace Adkins, will make a special appearance before Donald Trump reveals the next "Celebrity Apprentice."

In this second season of "The Celebrity Apprentice," America has again watched celebrities from the sports, television, musical, comedy and movie worlds collide and put their reputations on the line to win money for their charities, and now it is down to the final two – archenemies Joan Rivers and Annie Duke. In this three-hour finale episode, Joan and Annie are pleasantly surprised to see the return of some of their former teammates, Dennis Rodman, Tom Green, Melissa Rivers, Brande Roderick, Clint Black and Herschel Walker, and must choose among them to create a team that will lead them to one last victory and a huge donation to their chosen charity.

In the hours before a performance of Cirque du Soleil's hit show "Wintuk," each team will produce a pre-theatre VIP party, sponsored by Kodak, featuring a silent auction made up of items the celebrities themselves bring to the table. The feuding finalists vow to mercilessly defeat one another and they begin their task. However, with little time remaining, the event planning company quits, and both teams struggle to quickly transform a completely empty space into an environment that will impress the Kodak executives. The live boardroom, held at New York City's Museum of Natural History, hosts a reunion with this season's competing celebrities and the return of last year's winner Piers Morgan and runner up, country star Trace Adkins. In the final minutes of this live finale, Donald Trump mediates one last boardroom blowout between Joan and Annie, fires one of them and announces this season's "Celebrity Apprentice."
