More Performers Announced for “Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve”

"Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2009" will ring in the New Year Wednesday, December 31 on ABC with special live performances from Times Square by the Jonas Brothers, Taylor Swift, and Lionel Richie, in front of hundreds of thousands of people in Times Square and millions more viewers at home. Previously announced performers Natasha Bedingfield, Fall Out Boy, Jesse McCartney, Ne-Yo, Pussycat Dolls, Solange and Robin Thicke will perform during the Hollywood Party segments of the broadcast, which will be hosted by Fergie. The evening's festivities will be supported by country music star Kellie Pickler, who will report on what's happening live in and around Times Square.

The specials will be hosted by Dick Clark and Ryan Seacrest from New York. They will kick off with "Dick Clark's Primetime New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2009" (10:00-11:00 p.m. ET). After taking a half-hour break for local news, the specials will resume at 11:30 p.m., ET for reports on the final minutes of the year 2008, the traditional Times Square countdown to midnight and more special musical performances.

Puddle of Mudd rings in the New Year on "One Life To Live"

ABC Daytime's "One Life to Live" continues to establish itself as a destination for the music industries top artists with an appearance by rock band "Puddle of Mudd" on Tuesday, December 30. The band will help the citizens of Llanview ring in the New Year with a performance of their hit single, "We Don't Have to Look Back Now."

The band is set to appear at Rex Balsom's (John-Paul Lavoisier) club Ultra Violet. Lead singer Wes Scantlin will also act in scenes with the characters of Rex and Gigi (Farah Fath).

T.I. to perform on “NBC’s New Year's Eve with Carson Daly”

"NBC's New Year's Eve with Carson Daly" has added another sensational live music act to an already impressive slate of Grammy winning and nominated performers on this year's show. T.I. will add his unmistakable swagger to the show with a live performance from Rockefeller Center. The combination of Katy Perry, Ludacris and newly added T.I. gives NBC the most formidable musical lineup performing on New Year's Eve.

The fifth annual live "NBC's New Year's Eve with Carson Daly" will for the first time broadcast beginning in primetime from 10-11 p.m. (ET) and continue in late night from 11:35 p.m. - 12:35 a.m. all in high definition. In addition to the musical lineup, Daly will have help bringing the celebration to the home audience with Saturday "Today" co-anchor Amy Robach and NBC News correspondent Luke Russert giving live reports from Times Square. As in years past, the special promises to give viewers the experience of being in the middle
